3WW CLXXIII — Constuctive Symmetry
Meme Fail: I tried, and tried, and tried…and I just couldn’t fit teeter into my poem. I guess you could say I tottered…

Constructive Symmetry
Coiled metaphors rest in
gentle piles around me
I search among them
for the ideal simile
I take their measure
from sundry angles
Careful consideration
becomes the crucial matter
It is how you learn
who you really are
—
For 3WW CLXXIII
Even if I only used two words.…*sigh*

I like it. Could you have used teeter after “careful considerations” then add the to the next line?
Just a suggestion
Yeah, after careful consideration, I think you could/should use teeter in the title, destructive as it may be.
Nicely thought out/up^
I like that notion of careful consideration being how you learn who you are.
Teetering or not, I enjoyed your poem. Very clever! :~)
Excellently done. We are our language.
Enjoyed this one

Hmmmm. I teach Sunday School (among my many activities) and I refuse to give assignments that include activities that make the children “search for God”… since He is present, always.
I enjoy how Billy found him, with our without that sometimes distracting grouping of letters.… ( I wonder how many adults don’t know what it means and don’t ever get to know because they are too shy, afraid, hesitant of looking stupid… to ask).…
I posted to the wrong poem. Can you tell I am having a tough week?
I wondered why TEETER was being discussed in here.
AHHHH!
Today, I am an ink blot. I am a leaf, being tossed in the wind. I am the rain, which passes Bakersfield by looking for mountains rather than flat, arid soil.
(And thanks for the comment about my Real Woman poem, another one I hesitated to post.… )
Hey — occasionally it just doesn’t want to work, but you did a very good job with the other two words. Give it a few more days, then you might be able to fit it in somewhere — but then again — no worries either.
Never Centered
I think it is wonderful if you can use all the prompts but they are supposed to be “prompts” after all — they inspired you to create this wonderful poem so I would say you get full props. I loved it.
You did just fine. I like this!
