Wow, I'm really honored both for the thought and the fact that this is a really cool haiku. I love how "disturbing vultures" can be read 2 ways, but either way, they're doing important work.
(I realize there could be more than one James in the world, so hopefully my ego didn't just take over )
No, that was for you. Seeing the vultures doing their thing made me think of your fascination with them. The haiku just sort of appeared out of whole cloth from there.

They're amazing birds, deserving of poetry, rather than the disgust and condescension they normally get.
It's not fattening though delicious, isn't contagious through thought provoking, doesn't leave a stain and best of all, it's free.
